The Inside Edge celebrates the annual Newport Beach Film Festival with esteemed documentary filmmaker, Paul Gilman. His “Ocean Odyssey” won the “Best of the Fest” award for documentary feature at the 2005 Palm Springs International Film Festival, "Digiquest Jury Award" at the Riverside International Film Festival and has received high acclaim in the Newport Beach Film Festival as well. “Ocean Odyssey” traces composer Paul Gilman’s ten-year expedition communing with some of nature’s largest mammals in the open ocean through the magic of his ethereal music. Once they know Paul through his music, he swims with Humpback Whales and Dolphins and kayaks with killer whales, the most powerful predators.
